Writing Practice: Make a daily habit

In 50 Ways to Prectice Writing, author suggests that every day, write five sentences in English. It isn't very difficult task, but to make a daily habit is not so easy. I guess that is the reason behind  why she suggests only five sentense to write per day.

I am not sure that if I can continue it, but it is very obvious that if I don't commence writing daily, it will not happen.
She suggests if the reader writes in the morning, he or she can write about what is going to do or what his or her plan/wants to do. If he or she writes in the evening, he or she can write about what he or she did during the day.

In this way, we can practice different verb tenses thus she suggests to write it both in the evening and the morening.

By the way, I just remember Rudolf Steiner's suggestion "Evening Retrospect"

Evening Retrospect
Steps
  1. Review the scenes of the day in reverse order.
    Examine the events of:
    1. the evening
    2. the afternoon
    3. the forenoon
    4. the morning
  2. Picture to yourself — as faithfully as possible — each scene and all that took place in each pictured scene.
  3. Review your moral attitude in relation to each scene:
    1. How do you judge your actions?
    2. Did you do it right; could you have done it better?
    3. Conveyed your words the meaning you intended or did your words give a false impression?
    4. In relating experiences to others, did you overstate or understate them?
  4. Regarding the wrongs you have done.
    1. Take full responsibility
    2. Think:
I couldn’t do otherwise back then, but now I can do it better and I will do it better in future.
  5. Regarding the good you have done
    1. Approve — impersonally — of the good you have done.
    2. Determine to do still better.

Here I do only first step, "Review the scenes of the day in reverse order". But this practice usually is done before sleep in the bed.

  1. After midnight, I have been writing blog with my lap top at the present moment.
  2. I was chatting with my Chinese girlfriend by Wechat Video call.
  3. I was taking bath and singing Raga Bhimpalasi before calling to her.
  4. I was studying  at  "Academic and Business Writing" online course in edX with using Anki to put new vocabularies. Especially "connotation" is interesting for me to see what word carries in context of culture and society.
  5. I was taking a short sleep
  6. After end of the dayily duty of work, I closed my lap top monitor and started to reading web novels.
  7. I was working and ate dinner at the same time
  8. ........

I haven't written full of my day but it seems to be enough for first day of practice.

In Addition, Evening Restrospect of the day in reverse order can strengthen our memory if Rudolf Steiner suggestion is ture.
